She might not agree, but Sweeney thinks his mental control has come a long way since Wanda first had him on the floor of the common room in the boardinghouse. A lot of people have influenced that power and control, but Wanda still stands heads above the others in terms of shaping his telepathic skills. He figures that he's overdue in letting her know that.

So now he stands on her cottage's doorstep with parcel in hand. It's intimidating, to be sure. Sweeney's confident that he won't surprise her; he's not sure he'll ever master the art enough to conceal his presence from her; but at least he's not painting pictures or calling out his sentiments preemptively.

He knocks three times.
