I did use to wonder what it would've been like if I had been simply human, but being without my abilities seems frightening.
I do miss being strong enough to fly, however.

[ wanda thinks to tell him he's not alone in those thoughts. being human seems simpler. it's harder to hurt people when she can't move things with her mind and try and catch bombs and guide them up the length of tall buildings. ]

You used to fly?

Yes. Though I suppose it's also telekinesis...of myself. But I used to enjoy the feeling of flying, and it was helpful to rush to help.
You do not fly? Your gifts certainly seem capable of it at a glance.

I fly. I think it's the same way as you. I just never thought of it like that.

Did you want to fly again?

Would that be safe for you? Conveying someone else along the way.

It will be very safe. It won't bother me at all. It'll be like picking up a blue pebble.

They're all rather silly, but I think you made your point. So if you're really sure I wouldn't endanger you, I would like that chance.

And trust me, it won't endanger me at all. Maybe I'll finally learn how to land gracefully from someone else who knows how to fly like me.

I'll be the cushion! You have to teach me how to land. I think you'd do a lot better than me. I just drop to the ground.

How long has it been since you last flew?

Mere moments before I had left the universe I knew. I had flown then with the last of my strength before everything changed.
It was not a joyful flight.

I think this one will be very joyful.

Maybe so joyful, you never want to walk again. I hope you're prepared for that.

Very high expectations...I will look forward to it.
Let me tend to my companions here in the house first...as anxious as I am to leave, I want to make sure they will be alright. Things have been very rough on them of late.
