[ the very loaded question wanda has always loathed. she doesn't quite know if she's okay, but she knows that she's alive. that's got to count for something even if this town's trying to rip them all wide open from the very beginning. ]

[It's a shitty empty question, tbf. Are any of them okay? Absolutely not. So simply being alive is probably a pretty good answer right now. Sam will accept just about any answer, though. Wanda is interesting and he enjoys her company. Plus she's the only girl he can talk to right now without getting in trouble or having an intervention staged behind his back so. You know. Whatever.]

I don't think that's wrong. I don't have anywhere else to be and like you said, now that the dream team is back together everything is perfect.

Though we should probably lay off him for a little while, it's his time of the month.

What kind of magic are you able to do? I know of witches from home but I know not everyone's the same as Mystic Falls witches.

I can read minds and move things with my mind. I can make things appear and disappear. I can rewrite reality if I want it.

I had to kill someone I loved for the greater good. At the time, it seemed like it was the only answer. After, it meant nothing.

I think about it sometimes and get very mad.

I'll be going out to help with construction of the outpost west of Trench. I just wanted to check in before I left.

[ is that how being checked up on works? wanda's pretty sure she's messing this up, but! she thinks she can translate "i'm managing" to what it truly means. perhaps felwinter shouldn't be left alone to manage by himself. ]

Hallo, Wanda. I hope you're been well. I thought you might like to meet Smores; she's come to live with us now that my friend Richie's gone back to the sea.

His other dog, Gucci, is here with us too. I should very much like for us to have tea and cakes with you some time, and hear about your summer. And another friend of mine has come to stay with us––she's a Coldblood, and a weaponsmith by trade. I was wondering if there was anything you might do to keep the house from catching fire, or exploding? I would very much appreciate it, and I should be glad to make you some warmer clothes for the coming seasons either way.

[ wanda smiles. ] Of course. I'd be more than happy to fireproof and explode-proof your home.

[ considering sansa hasn't reported any issues with her other proofing—and wanda's own house seems impenetrable against most things the trench could think to throw at it—she's becoming more and more confident in her... proofing abilities.

Oh, thank you. I do think you'll like Jinx; she needs friends, even if she pretends she doesn't. And I know you'll like Smores, she's clever and patient and kind. All the hounds look up to her. Have you met Vhagar yet? She's my hellhound, from the Dog Keeper. Do you know him? He's a wonderful man who lives in the woods, at the Waystation. He trains dogs and does blood magic so they can't be killed, and he lets people have them if he likes them well enough.
