And another friend of mine has come to stay with usââshe's a Coldblood, and a weaponsmith by trade. I was wondering if there was anything you might do to keep the house from catching fire, or exploding? I would very much appreciate it, and I should be glad to make you some warmer clothes for the coming seasons either way.

Have you met Vhagar yet? She's my hellhound, from the Dog Keeper. Do you know him? He's a wonderful man who lives in the woods, at the Waystation. He trains dogs and does blood magic so they can't be killed, and he lets people have them if he likes them well enough.
Well, you're always welcome to come by and visit them; I just thought perhaps you might like to have a hellhound of your own, if you didn't have one already.

Well, they're magic dogs. I think perhaps if they minded magic, they wouldn't have let the Dog Keeper make them hellhounds. I don't think he would do magic on a dog that didn't like it, anyway.
