More nuanced: he's had someone very close to him be able to mildly influence emotions which was a really gd complicated thing bc that's fucked up but was also used for ggggood, generally. (And might have briefly had empathic abilities himself that gave him lots of Feelings.) Wholeass telepathy is a new thing for him, though, and he's got Secrets and Things He Doesn't Like To Talk About that he would be unhappy to get poked at. Blood magic is overall no bueno. uhhhhh except when we absolutely have to use it to fix shit that got hella broken maybe, okay. All rules have exceptions!!! But also blood magic is shit that can very easily lead down a very bad path of demon stuff, and we don't like demon stuff, RIGHT WANDA?

CHARACTER OPINIONS ON TELEPATHY/BLOOD MAGIC: She has a typical native unease with blood magic (and therefore telepathy), but ultimately her attitude is do not fucking fuck us. She's not going to tell the cops, but the cops finding out is absolutely her top concern. If it can be useful then it also needs to be smart and discreet, etc.
ARE YOU UP FOR MIND CONTOL?: Not no, but this is a potential CR nuke. I wouldn't rule out possible scenarios where they could work through that, though.
OTHER NOTES: Gwenaëlle has a comedic lack of filter. Nine out of ten times if Wanda reads her mind, it's probably the exact same shit she just said. Twice in the game history everyone's been affected by some kind of truth potion and she has failed to notice until told despite being affected. It's not that there's nothing deeper to discover (there are things she doesn't necessarily talk about or that she isn't necessarily totally self-aware about!) but I think the main impression Wanda would get from her is that wow, what you see is basically what you get.

CHARACTER OPINIONS ON TELEPATHY/BLOOD MAGIC: Much more relaxed on the subject than the native population (familiar with similar-but-different magic elsewhere), but: something she will put in her pocket in case she ever needs to use it. Would not go straight to "tell the cops", would strongly prefer not to tell the cops (ACAB), but is not above exploiting a known advantage like "having information someone might prefer the cops not be aware of" if pressed. Ya girl's a politician.

MENTAL BARRIERS: Yes, and they’re better now that he knows to be on his guard around her; they’re not impermeable, though, so she can absolutely get through them. Maybe she can always get through since it’s her bread-and-butter, but he’s gotten better at sensing when it’s happened?
CHARACTER OPINIONS ON TELEPATHY/BLOOD MAGIC: He’s distressingly open to it, and would do it himself if he could tbh. But he’s also extremely private and would dislike her finding out too much about him without consent, so he’d be fairly prickly about her picking up some piece of unintended personal information. Since he’s already well-familiar with Wanda’s telepathy, though, I am extremely here for telepathic conversations in general and she can drop a casual message to him anytime and he won’t be fussed about having a chat mentally.

CHARACTER OPINIONS ON TELEPATHY/BLOOD MAGIC: Blood magic opinions are negative but some of his best friends are blood mages & he knows what it actually looks like, so he'd be able to tell the difference and not freak out. Telepathy separate from blood magic concerns he would get over. He says what he's thinking anyway so if someone wants to cut out the middle men of mouths and ears that's fine.
