    CHARACTER OPINIONS ON TELEPATHY/BLOOD MAGIC: Absolutely Big Fucking No What The Fuck Bruh
    More nuanced: he's had someone very close to him be able to mildly influence emotions which was a really gd complicated thing bc that's fucked up but was also used for ggggood, generally. (And might have briefly had empathic abilities himself that gave him lots of Feelings.) Wholeass telepathy is a new thing for him, though, and he's got Secrets and Things He Doesn't Like To Talk About that he would be unhappy to get poked at. Blood magic is overall no bueno. uhhhhh except when we absolutely have to use it to fix shit that got hella broken maybe, okay. All rules have exceptions!!! But also blood magic is shit that can very easily lead down a very bad path of demon stuff, and we don't like demon stuff, RIGHT WANDA?
    anyway everyone be glad he's an ex-templar that isn't beholden to the strict rules of his order anymore
